Please read the info below BEFORE bringing in your items.

  • Boots

  • Designer Bags

  • Sunglasses

  • Fine Jewelry

NEW CONSIGNORS, please bring a maximum of 15 items.

Our Consignment Bar is now located in the back of the store. Please bring your items in a sturdy reusable tote, plastic bin or large basket. We tend to get extremely busy in our intake area & need your items contained. If there is a wait & you leave, you must pick up anything remaining within 48 hours of your intake completion call. We will donate items after 48 hours (we have very limited storage space).

ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN, FRESHLY LAUNDERED/DRY CLEANED to be considered for consignment. We reserve the right to refuse anything due to holes, pet hair, stains, odor or other imperfections.

PLEASE BRING ITEMS IN A BAG, BIN, BOX or BASKET. This step calls for repeat as your items are important to us & we do not want any mix-ups! We recommend laundry baskets, storage totes, large reusable grocery bags, etc. These will be clearly labeled with your name upon arrival. We DO NOT keep boxes for footwear & toss them if they’re left in-store. Please keep them in case the item(s) do not sell.

Keep in mind that we are VERY seasonal & generally stick to brands on our “Brands We Love” page. Use that page as a guide & save time by editing your consignment BEFORE bringing it to us!

Once you have consigned & are in our database, you will receive your consignor ID via email where you can check your account balance online on https://myresaleweb.com/ Please add boulder@shopcommonthreads.com & commonthreadsboulder@gmail.com to your Contacts to ensure the emails go to your inbox! If you happen to delete this email, you can always email or call the store to request your ID.

Items that do not sell during the consignment period & are not requested back (you must call on or before your end date to make a request) are donated to local non-profits. See our DONATIONS page for more info. Your unsold, unwanted items go to really wonderful local causes! If items are not requested within 7 days of the consignment period ending, it is too late for us to pull your items. You are welcome to come find your remaining items yourself (we can print you out a report).

If unsold items are requested back to a consignor & are not picked up in-store within TWO WEEKS, they will be donated. When this happens 3 times, we unfortunately will no longer pull items off of the floor for that consignor. (We do keep track!) No exceptions - consignors are in charge of their account & we use our precious (paid) time to pull these requested items off the floor.

Sending us a box of consignment or moving away before your consignment period ends? Please note that we donate any items that we do not consign & when your consignment period ends, your unsold items go to great local non-profits!
